The Wedding of Margherita Missoni!!

Margherita Missoni got married this weekend to her racing-driver fiancé Eugenio Amos, but rather than relying on her talented family to design the dress for her big day, she turned to her friend Giambattista Valli to advise on the long-sleeved gown - which was made using Missoni silk and organza, and embellished with embroideries and flower applications.

The ceremony took place in a romantic church in Brunello, just outside Milan, while the banquet took place at a farm in the same area. A gypsy orchestra, acrobats and a psychic yielded the gypsy style that was the subject of marriage.

"The dress was made by the women who saw me growing up, following my precise directions and with giamba's 'couture counselling'," she Tweeted today.

Among the guests was Carine Roitfeld (stylist),  Franca Sozzani (editor - in - chief of Italian Vogue) and Mario Testino (Photographer). Tatiana Santo Domingo, Eugenie Niarchos and the sister of the bride, Teresa were some of the bridesmaids.
